On Friday I drove to Paphos with three friends to see "Madam Butterfly" performed at Paphos Castle. We were presented with a souvenir fan when we went in, and we certainly needed it! The temperature was around 30c with about 80% humidity, and to say it was uncomfortable is an understatement! However the Guiseppe Verdi Company from Trieste were wonderful and we really enjoyed the music. As usual the Cypriots arrived late and left early! The carpark was gridlocked so we went for a short walk beside the sea until the way out was clear. Got back home at 2am after taking the others home.
Saturday We were invited to a BBQ for a birthday celebration - had too much food and some lovely chocolate birthday cake, then an early night!
Sunday Yet another BBQ, but we couldn't face eating very much after the previous day. Then had a discussion and a short rehearsal for a musical show we are doing at a hotel next week. George was the critic!
My Mum's Birthday today so had a long chat on the telephone.
